Fort Worth Chamber hosts virtual Leaders Online event, featuring SBA and Workforce Solutions experts

In response to new community guidelines for holding meetings, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce hosted the first in a series of virtual events, Leaders Online, via livestream.

The Facebook Live, which received more than 1,500 views, featured two speakers, Herbert Austin, district director of the Small Business Administration’s Dallas/Fort Worth Office, and Steven Gonzalez, business services director for Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County. Both speakers highlighted funding and workforce solutions and fielded questions.

  • Workforce Solutions has developed a Rapid Response Program, which is designed to assist in the early stages of layoff and goes through restructuring and assisting while providing career counseling, job assistance, education and training opportunities.
