The diverse and inclusive collection of artists featured on Amplify 817 represent what the Fort Worth music scene and culture is all about. Artists chosen by Amplify 817 curators will join Jack Barksdale, Lou CharLe$, Summer Dean, Rachel Gollay, Ronnie Heart, Nice Major, Taylor Pace and Jakob Robertson.

Amplify 817 offers artists upfront payment to feature their music for three years. For the community, Amplify 817 offers a single place to discover and experience a variety of Fort Worth musicians.

The project is a partnership between the Fort Worth Public Library and Hear Fort Worth, with support from the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation.

Amplify 817 is also currently seeking four to five well-rounded music aficionados who are a part of or are huge supporters of the Fort Worth music scene to serve as curators. Curators will review submissions this summer from local artists to be included in the program. Individuals interested in being a curator should email the Library.
