Six Fort Worth community centers are now open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for fitness center use only:

  • Como, 4660 Horne St.
  • North Tri-Ethnic, 2950 Roosevelt Ave.
  • Victory Forest 3427 Hemphill St.
  • Handley-Meadowbrook, 6201 Beaty St.
  • Chisholm Trail, 4936 McPherson Blvd.
  • Northside, 1100 N.W. 18th St.

Here’s what residents should know before visiting one of the fitness centers:

Customers with current fitness memberships may access fitness rooms for one hour per day at any of these centers. Available time slots are 8-9 a.m., 9:15-10:15 a.m., 10:30-11:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m., 1-2 p.m., 2:15-3:15 p.m., and 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Customers must reserve a one-hour time slot online before arrival. A limited number of slots will be available, and some fitness center equipment may be unavailable to ensure social distancing.

When arriving at the center, call the community center or ring the door bell, and a staff member will greet you at the door. Your temperature will be checked and health screening questions will be asked and recorded. You will not be allowed access to the center if your temperature is above 99.6 degrees.

Scan your membership card. Memberships may be purchased or renewed online. No purchases can be made at the front desk.

Wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when entering the center, in common areas and when within 6 feet of another person. Wear gloves that fully cover from the wrist to the fingers while exercising. Bring your own towel and a bottle of water.

Wash or disinfect your hands upon entering the fitness room. Disinfect the equipment before and after each use. Showers and lockers will not be available.

Additional center fitness rooms will be open June 15 and June 29.
