TipTop ARRA Employment Program | Empowerment, Growth & Advancement

A Federal Stimulus Funded Project

The City of Fort Worth's Tip Top ARRA (American Recovery & Reinvestment Act) job training and placement program is a community effort to stimulate the Tarrant County economy by preparing its residents for work.

Designed to provide education or other employment services that may match employers' needs, ARRA assists job seekers with training and job placement services.

The program also addresses barriers to finding employment such as transportation, child care and high utility bills. Unemployed or under-employed Tarrant County adults, who have a high school diploma or GED certificate, may participate in certification classes to obtain the necessary training and skills employers require.

Job seekers may benefit from job placement services such as resume writing and interviewing skill sessions. ARRA will also offer job referrals, job placements and participation in job fairs.

Creating and sustaining economic growth and employment opportunities for our community.
