Commercial Loading Zone Permits
City ordinance restricts use of commercial loading zones to clearly marked commercial delivery vehicles only (view the ordinance for details).
For businesses that wish to use non-commercial vehicles for deliveries, a Commercial Loading Zone Permit is required.
$75 (six months) and $150 (one year).
Applicants also must submit a certificate of insurance (view a sample certificate) for the company that states “Commercial” or “Business Auto.” For drivers using personal vehicles, the business certificate and copies of personal auto insurance for all drivers must be submitted with the application.
Up to two vehicles can be registered to use a single permit, but only one vehicle may use the permit at a time.
If a vehicle listed on the permit is replaced, contact the parking manager’s office at 817-392-7977 or 817-392-6667 so an updated permit can be issued.

If you have experienced a problem with a parking meter, you may report the malfunction by calling 817-392-8100. You will need to know the four-digit meter number located on either the front and/or back of the meter. If you deposited a coin in the meter and it did not register any time, and if there are not any other signals displayed, you are still responsible for ensuring that there is time on the meter before leaving your vehicle.
