Residential Remodel Permit

Residential remodel permits are issued when improvements to the home do not add any new square footage to a home.

Permits are not required for “cosmetic” remodels (floor or wall covering, cabinets, counter tops, shelving, etc.) or plumbing fixture replacement.

Residential Remodel Permits are not eligible for electronic document review at this time. Apply in person at City Hall.

What is needed

Bring two copies of complete plans (including site plans), and two copies of the energy compliance documents.
