The Fleet division of Property Management helps other departments accomplish their missions by providing fleet maintenance, fueling, acquisition and auction services. The division reduces frequency of repairs through regular maintenance, and decreases the average cost of repairs through industry-leading quality of work.
James Avenue Service Center 5021 James Ave.
Completed in 2005, the City of Fort Worth’s newest fleet maintenance facility offers heavy and light vehicle repairs, the center services a range of equipment. Certifications: ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, CEM.
Southside Service Center 4100 Columbus Trail
Opened in 1987, Southside Service Center handles a broad mix of vehicles from a variety of city departments ranging from forestry trucks to aviation equipment to fire apparatus. Certifications: ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, CEM, EVT.
Water Service Center 2201 W. Daggett St.
The Water Service Center has served the Fort Worth Water Department since 1969. Focus is on medium and heavy duty trucks, backhoes, loaders, excavators, and small engine apparatus. A field technician is also stationed at the Village Creek Water Treatment plant. Certifications: ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, CEM.
Monitors the fleet and provides reports for budget creation and forecasting.
Oversees replacement forecasting, acquisition and disposition of all city equipment as well fuel services.
Provides repair and preventative maintenance service to city equipment at five service centers.
