Will Rogers Memorial Center

Will Rogers Memorial Center is located in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District and includes Will Rogers Coliseum, Auditorium, Equestrian Center and Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Building.

The center attracts in excess of two million people a year due to its ability to host an extensive variety of cultural, equestrian and recreational events.

The Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Building has 100,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space and includes:

  • The Texas Room can accommodate up to 400 10X10 ft. exhibit booths or seat 6,000 for banquets, has a 21-foot ceiling, electrical and phone outlets every 15 feet, and four full concession stands.
  • The Round Up Inn, a banquet and meeting room, seats 1,800 and has a permanent stage.

The historic Will Rogers Auditorium seats 2,856 and features excellent acoustics, a state-of-the-art lighting system and wonderful art deco architecture.

Will Rogers Coliseum, the site of the world-renowned Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show, features sporting events year-round. The coliseum has permanent seating for 5,600 spectators, which can be increased to more than 7,000 with arena floor seating.

Will Rogers Equestrian Center

The Will Rogers Equestrian Center is recognized as one of the largest and most modern livestock facilities in the world. The facility uses an enclosed tunnel system for moving livestock through its various buildings, which include:

  • Richardson-Bass Building 215,000 square feet and with two show offices; the 1,934-seat John Justin Arena, the Brown-Lupton Exhibits Area, 278 galvanized metal stalls, an exercise area and 34 cattle pens
  • Burnett Building197,000 square feet featuring 565 galvanized metal stalls, an exercise arena and 31 cattle pens
  • Moncrief Building170,000 square feet, including the W.R. Watt Arena and exercise arena, and can accommodate 262 portable stalls or 655 cattle ties
  • Livestock Barns — comprising the swine barn, sheep barn, 25,000 square feet of exhibit space and four cattle barns, which can accommodate 634 portable stalls or 1,600 cattle ties.
  • Equestrian Multi-Purpose Facility (coming early 2012)  Located adjacent to the John Justin and W.R. Watt arenas, the new equestrian complex will include space for 740 metal stalls and two indoor exercise areas.
