Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is responsible for implementing the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES).  The TPDES program issues permits to facilities that discharge effluent to surface waters of the State of Texas.  Additional information on the TPDES program may be found on the web sites listed below.
