The Fort Worth Water Department provides retail water service within the city limits. Additionally, we provide water service to 30 entities and treat wastewater for 23 entities within Tarrant County and portions of Johnson County and Denton County. The separate entities make up the Wholesale Customer base for the Water Department.

Some entities are both water and wastewater wholesale customers. Others receive only one of the services from Fort Worth. These services are provided by contractual arrangement.
