Q: I want to compete but can’t attend all the sessions. Can I send my partner in my place for any of them?
A: Yes, you or a partner can attend the mandatory sessions.

Q: I don’t have a business credit or debit card. Can I pay with a personal card?
A: Yes. You choose the method of payment during the online process.

Q: I prefer to pay with a check or cash. Is that possible and how do I do it?
A: Yes, you can bring cash, a check, debit or credit card to the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center at 1150 South Freeway Fort Worth, Texas 76104 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 817-392-2622.

Q: I’ve been to the Business Assistance Center (BAC) but it was a long time ago. Am I still considered a client and eligible to compete?
A: You don’t have to be a previous BAC client to compete, unless your business is not operating in Tarrant County.

Q: What documentation is required to support my eligibility?
A: If you are chosen as one of the 25 participants to proceed through the competition, you will need to bring a copy confirming your legal entity (Assumed name, corporation documents, etc. Note: You need to have filed this form a minimum of six months prior to the competition.) You will also need to bring either a copy of last year’s tax return (first page only) or a bank statement (blot out account number) to confirm that you are “currently” doing business.
