Attire and other information

Standard Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required and consists of a hard hat, safety vest and glasses. These PPE kits are available for purchase for $7. Visitors to the landfill are also encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes, and no small or young children should be outside of the vehicle when dumping.

Fort Worth residents who visit the landfill with a driver’s license and matching water bill can unload up to one ton of materials for $40. There is an additional per-ton fee for loads that are heavier than one ton.

For landlords whose water bills do not match the address, the landlord must show proof of ownership of the property, and it must be a rental property within the city limits. Commercial apartment complexes are not eligible for this arrangement.
