Veterans, servicemembers and military spouses interested in starting a Veteran-Owned Small Business are invited to a one-day Boots to Business Reboot Workshop Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Boots to Business Reboot is a special entrepreneurship training program for veterans, activity-duty service members and their spouses from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on SBA resources available to help. The program is facilitated by subject matter experts from the SBA and their extensive network of skilled business advisors.

The workshop runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Devoyd Jennings Business Assistance Center (BAC) at 1150 South Freeway.

The program is hosted by City of Fort Worth’s Economic Development Department and Office of Veterans Affairs, University of Texas Arlington’s Veterans Business Outreach Center, and SBA.

The program is no-cost, but advance registration is required as seating is limited.
