City Manager's Office

The City of Fort Worth has implemented a new organizational structure under City Manager Jay Chapa. This update enhances collaboration and connectivity across city departments by grouping them into “working groups” aligned under the leadership of Assistant City Managers (ACMs).

This approach provides a clear, strategic alignment of city services—ensuring coordination across key operational areas. The new structure aims to enhances efficiency, improve service delivery, and supports Fort Worth’s continued growth and development.

As City Manager Chapa continues to assess the organization’s needs, he anticipates making additional refinements to further enhance effectiveness. These adjustments will be made over time as he gains deeper insight into how best to structure teams for long-term success.
