Junk vehicles on private property in Fort Worth aren’t just an eyesore. They’re a public nuisance that create many safety hazards in our community.
A vehicle is considered junk if:
- It doesn’t have a lawfully attached, unexpired registration sticker and license plate.
- It’s wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled.
- It’s on private property and has not worked for over 20 consecutive days.
- It’s visible from a property different from the one where it’s located.
Fines can be as high as $200 and the vehicle may be towed.
