The Fort Worth Environmental Services Department and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, respectively, permits and licenses any facility that provides care for more than 12 children under 14 years of age – who are not the children of the owner or operator of the facility – for less than 24 hours a day. Download Child Care Safety brochure.(PDF, 1MB)

Training Class Schedule

Class Schedule

Registration begins 30 minutes and closes 5 minutes before class starts. Participants must sign in before class. There will be no admittance once class begins.

 

2025 Schedule

Thursday Daytime classes take place 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Thursday Evening classes take place 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Step 1.Licensing and permitting
