The Fort Worth Fire Department no longer accepts paper/hard copy submittals of construction permit applications or plans/drawings. To apply for a permit with the FWFD, please visit this website and either log in if you already have an account or register as a new user. Then, just click on Fire - Create Application and follow the steps. All Fire Code-required construction permits are deferred submittal post-building permit issuance.

Note that only State Fire Marshal-licensed fire protection contractors may submit for fire protection system permits (Underground, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Standpipe, Fire Alarm, and Fire Suppression/Alternate Extinguishing/Kitchen Hoods).
