A tribute to firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
Chief James (Jim) Davis, was sworn in on Oct. 16, 2018, as the Fire Chief for the City of Fort Worth, Chief. Davis has over 35 years of fire department experience and was formerly Assistant Fire Chief in Columbus, Ohio, a city with a population only slightly larger than Fort Worth.Davis started in Columbus in 1988 and holds a master’s degree in operational excellence and process improvement from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and a doctorate in adult learning theory from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Chief Learning Officer program.
