About the program: NextGen Ambassadors will be connected to paid positions within City of Fort Worth departments. The goal is to introduce our future leaders to municipal operations and future career fields. Our Ambassadors will be matched to one city department and work 20 hours a week during this eight-week program. In addition to work experience and exposure, participants will also attend a weekly professional development session. These sessions will cover a variety of topics that will prepare our Ambassadors to work in local government and other related professions.
