Igimèjí is a indie, R&B band from Arlington, Texas that officially formed in 2018. We started by playing open mics around the DFW area, including at the open mic in Shipping and Receiving. As we grew in the open mic scene, so did our stage presence, musical ability and our song list.
It was at an eventual point that we decided to record our EP, Two Trees at Southside Recorders in downtown Fort Worth.
We've really connected with other musicians around the DFW area that we are happy to call our close friends and we collaborate with them often. It's awesome to be a part of such an active and talented community of musicians that create such amazing content, and we take every opportunity to catch other shows when we can.
