Check out this sci-fi thriller!
Imagine a world where human life can be created in a lab from any scrap of DNA that can be secured. While that has implications for anyone, the stakes rise sharply for celebrities who are forced to protect their cells from would-be thieves who sell them for profit.
Author Kira Peikoff’s sci-fi thriller Baby X explores this world and the characters caught in its trap. She will discuss her novel via Zoom. A Q&A session will follow her presentation.

About Baby X:
In Baby X, author Kira Peikoff plunges readers into a world in which science can create embryos – and ultimately children – with cells from any two people on earth. The process is so easy that a black market for stolen DNA emerges as people try to steal DNA from well-sought-after celebrities. The twisted tale follows a music superstar who hires a bio-security guard to help keep his genetic material safely away from a black-market company called "The Vault."
