Celebrate springtime and learn about the Bulgarian tradition of Baba Marta Day. The arrival of Baba Marta, or "Grandma March," is celebrated each spring with small yarn tassels and dolls called martenitsa, which are worn and then used to decorate nearby trees. Join us to learn more about the culture of Bulgaria and make your own martenitsa to take home.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library creates spaces and opportunities for conversations and exploration. We created this cultural program for children and their grownups to enjoy together.
