Navajo Code Talkers - Golden Triangle

group of Navajo Code Talkers during WWII

Honoring the heroes who helped with the war.

The Navajo language was used to create a special code to send secret military massages during World War II!

In honor of Navajo Code Talker’s Day on August 14th, learn about the Navajo people including the soldiers involved in the Navajo Code Talkers, and write your own secret code on wooden dog tags.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library creates spaces and opportunities for conversations and exploration. We created this cultural program for children and their caregivers to enjoy together.
