The Fort Worth Public Library’s first branch in a retail location is marking its third birthday and the staff wants to invite everyone to help celebrate.
The El Gran Cumpleaños party is slated for 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at La Gran Biblioteca, which is situated near El Mercado inside the La Gran Plaza mall. There will be fun crafts, activities and snacks for attendees who are invited to learn all about La Gran’s regular programs and activities.
Decorate a tote bag to take home, play cornhole and ladder ball, get your face painted and grab snack. Families are welcome to add to their home libraries with free children’s books to keep. While supplies last.
