Come Celebrate with Us!

Observe Finnish Independence Day, which is officially Dec. 6, by learning about the science and mythology behind the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. The phenomenon can be seen in the sky often from countries near the Arctic Circle, including northern Finland.

Experience a smaller version of the wonder by creating your own artwork depicting the Northern Lights.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library celebrates art in all forms. We designed this arts program for children in grades K-5.
