Pride Wreath - Diamond Hill Jarvis

rainbow wreath

June is LGBT History month!

Did you know that there are more than 20 pride flags? Celebrate Pride by creating a decorative wreath in the colors of the Pride flag of your choice while learning the significance of the colors and history of the LGBT community.

Patrons will receive one small foam wreath, and various colors of felt to cut into long strips, create into fringe, and glue onto the foam wreath.  Patrons will be given various examples of Pride flags and their associated colors, with some historical information behind them. They will choose which flag they would like replicate, and be given those colors of felt for their wreath.

As a destination for discovery, your Fort Worth Public Library is a location for learners of any age.  We designed this program exclusively for adults.
