Responding to our community's needs
From our conversational English as a Second Language classes to our High School Equivalency test-preparation courses, the Fort Worth Public Library strives to offer relevant programs for Fort Worth’s Spanish-speaking community. For families, regular Spanish or bilingual story times are fun events that encourage children to read. Our Kindergarten Prep, offered in Spanish, helps prepare parents for their child’s first day of school.

Free High School Equivalency Classes in Spanish
We are proud to currently offer the only free GED program for Spanish-speakers in Tarrant County. Instructors offer a monthly general session where participants can ask questions before starting the program. The classes meet 9 - 11 a.m., Monday - Thursday each week.
