Every student in Texas and every teacher serving Fort Worth-based students can get a free Fort Worth Public Library card, and so much more! We're building a community of learners, dreamers and doers together.

If an independent school district has a school inside the Fort Worth city border, the entire staff of that district is eligible for Educator Cards. Library staff will be able to assist in determining eligibility and explaining expiration dates.

Fort Worth residents may apply online or in person, and school enrollment verification is not required for residents. Students living outside of Fort Worth should apply with their parents in-person at any of our locations. Please note that non-resident students must verify enrollment in school which can include any of the following:
Each cart has a 3D printer that is free to use on a first-come-first-served basis during regular hours. Ask our friendly staff to show you how to use the printer, design an item or find something online. We offer 3D printing basics classes at different locations throughout the year.
