If you are dissatisfied with the hearing officer’s decision, the person found liable may appeal to the Fort Worth Municipal Court no later than 30 days after the filing of the hearing officer’s order.
The petition for appeal may be:
Filed with a customer service representative at the Fort Worth Municipal Court, located inside the A.D. Marshall Public Safety & Courts Building, at 1000 Throckmorton St. The appeal will require a non-refundable filing fee of $10 and a cash bond in the amount of the set fine.
Mailed to the Fort Worth Municipal Court, 1000 Throckmorton St., Fort Worth, TX 76102. The appeal will require a non-refundable filing fee of $10 and a cash bond in the amount of the set fine. Be sure to send a letter requesting an appeal and a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check (do not mail cash) in the amount of the set fine plus the filing fee. Please make your check or money order payable to the City of Fort Worth.
