Lifeguard Tryouts

06 Apr 2025 Want to have a splash at the pool this summer while earning extra money and gaining valuable work experience? Individuals interested in becoming a lifeguard at one of the City of Fort Worth's pools are asked to undergo tryouts before completing the American Red Cross lifeguard certification course. Participants must be 15 or older to take the class, and must be 16 or older to work for the City.

2025 Pitch, Hit & Run Competition

31 May 2025 Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run events provide a platform for boys and girls, ages 7-14 (age as of Nov. 15, 2025) to demonstrate their athletic abilities while fostering teamwork and healthy competition. Sponsored by Fort Worth Park & Recreation, New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Worth Outreach, and Major League Baseball.
