Holiday closure schedules
Most City offices, including City Hall, will be closed Wednesday, January, for the New Year Day holiday. Emergency services will be available as usual.Close this announcement
In 1999, the city approved a 13.7-acre park site for Marine Creek Hills in northwest Fort Worth. In 2003, the Park Department accepted 40 acres of donated parkland from Parkview Hills developers, Barham and Harris Development One, LP. The park suffered a temporary setback in November 2005, when an arsonist set fire to the playground equipment. Anderson Park has a total area of 54.65 acres as of 2022.
