Fun facts and History

Among the six parks acquired in 2018 is the 2.6-acre Bronzewood Park which was acquired from Copper Creek Partners, LP in accordance with the Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy. As part of the program, the developers of the Copper Creek subdivision constructed improvements consisting of a playground, two benches, a trash receptacle, a walking path, and a sport court with two goals, at a total cost of $273,685.95 which exceeded the neighborhood park development fees requirement of $270,960.08. The park is in far north Fort Worth north of Harmon Road, east of the BNSF Railway, and west of Blue Mound Road. It takes its name from the adjacent street.[1]
