History

In 2021, The City Council approved the dedication of 0.39 acres of parkland and facility improvements. The park includes a playground, benches, trash receptacle, 500 linear feet of sidewalk, tennis court, and pet station. The park is in the Heritage Addition in far north Fort Worth. The streets in the addition are named for people or places significant in Fort Worth’s history. The park received its name from an adjacent street which is named for the military fort from which Fort Worth received its name.
