History

On Dec. 14, 2004, the City Council approved the dedication of approximately seven acres of parkland in the Crawford Farms subdivision, located east of I-35W and south of Golden Triangle Boulevard. The developer of the subdivision, Crawford Partners No. 2 Ltd., chose to offset the required neighborhood park facility development fee by undertaking park development that included a 550-linear foot trail, playground, park bench, bike rack, and trash receptacles valued at $69,720.71. Its name comes from the adjacent development.
