Fun facts

Creekside Park is in south Fort Worth in the Meadowcreek neighborhood. On March 29, 1988, the City Council approved the dedication of 16.23-acre park. At the same time, the City Council approved a Community Facilities Agreement with the developer, Redwood Properties, Inc., from which the developer installed approximately $105,000 of improvements that included a tennis court, softball field, sidewalks, tree planting, and irrigation. Because the park serves several subdivisions, the park is named “Creekside” (a creek runs through the middle of the park) instead of named after one of the subdivisions.  The park also contains a shelter. To the north of the park is Meadow Creek Elementary School.
