Fun facts

Delga Park is located northeast of downtown near the Trinity River and Interstate 35W. It was acquired in 1968 and was originally known as Delga Park but in 1970 the name was changed to Cold Springs Park but has since reverted to Delga. Both names were taken from adjacent streets. Ball field improvements were undertaken in 2001. As of 2023, it had two shade structures, a Tier 2 baseball field, a new playground (circa 2021), benches, picnic tables, grills, security lighting, two half-court basketball areas, trails, and linkage to the Trinity River Trail. The park contains approximately four acres
