Fun Facts and History

Harvest Ridge Park is located in the Harvest Ridge Addition in the Keller-Haslet area north of Fort Worth. On December 20, 2005, the City Council accepted the dedication of 6.379 acres of parkland and facility improvements from Harvest Ridge, L.P., in accordance with the 2000 Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy. The developer constructed improvements that included four picnic stations, one picnic pavilion, four trash receptacles, a playground, a soccer field, a pond, and practice basketball/softball field, and 1,300 linear feet of trail. In addition, the Harvest Ridge Homeowners Association entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department for the installation of a fountain and electrical service to operate it. The fountain is located in the park’s pond.
