Fun facts

Heritage Addition Park was initially acquired in 2001 and 2002. Additional acreage was acquired on August 25, 2009 when the City Council accepted the dedication of approximately 26.2 acres of parkland and facility improvements from Hillwood Alliance Residential, L.P., in accordance with the Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy for Heritage Addition Park. The developer constructed improvements consisting of approximately 6,787 linear feet of trail, a playground composed of three segments, and one pedestrian crossing in addition to the planting of 20 trees.  By 2014, the park contained 36.8 acres.
