Fun facts and History

High Crest Park was acquired in 2006 when the City Council authorized the acquisition of three residential lots containing 0.74 acres from the Nirvana Community Development Group, also known as, Mo Peracha, and dedicated it for park purposes. It is in the middle of a small residential neighborhood that is hemmed in by I-35W, Northeast 28th Street, and railroad tracks which isolates it from other residential neighborhoods. It takes its name from the addition where it is located. In 2014, plans were being formulated for the park’s renovation. High Crest Park is Fort Worth's smallest park.
