Fun Facts & History

J.T. Hinkle Park was created in 2002. The nearly six-acre park was named for J.T. Hinkle, a former mayor of Lake Worth and the founder of the Northwest Leaders Forum, a network of Northwest Tarrant County civic, business, and political leaders who met for fellowship and to address common issues. Hinkle died in 1996.
