In accordance with the 2000 Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy, the City Council accepted the dedication of 13.197 acres for the establishment of Lasater Park in November 2004. The park was developed by Hillwood RLD, L.P. to provide suitable parkland for the Lasater Addition subdivision, located south of Harmon Road and east of Blue Mound Road. Hillwood’s improvements to the park included trail improvements, benches, and picnic stations. On April 24, 2007, the City Council approved the dedication of 10.889 acres of undeveloped land as an addition to the park, giving it a total acreage of 24.086 acres. In now contains 25.133 acres.
