Fun facts & History

Mesa Verde Park is located in the Park Glen area of Fort Worth. The 0.30-acre site with a playground and seating area was given to the City in 1993 by Park Glen I Association, Inc. Usually, parcels of this size were not accepted as parkland, but in this case, there was no other opportunity for recreational space in its neighborhood. In addition, the park was located within a Public Improvement District which accepted the maintenance of the entire site. The park received additional playground renovations in 2008-09.
