This park is a neighborhood park connecting to an HOA-maintained park with a cement trail around a lake.
Recreational highlights of the park include a 0.10 cement trail connecting to an adjacent HOA park with a lake. A ball field with a backstop, as well as a playground, picnic shelter and grill provide many opportunities for families to spend time outdoors.
The geology of the park consists of undivided Grayson Marl and Main Street Formations. The interbedded limestone of Grayson lies above Mainstreet. Both formations are a result of calcium deposits derived from the marine life of an ancient sea during the Cretaceous Period.
Sanger-Bolar soils are clayey upland soils formed from erosion of the underlying limestone bedrock.
The park is a neighborhood park with no natural area. Species present in the park are generalist species such as northern mockingbird, European honeybee, field crickets, and other species adapted to the human-built environment. The soils of the area were considered good for farming so it's likely that prior to development, farming and ranching were the main activities.
