Fun facts

Whitfill Park serves Creekside Estates subdivision and the Rainbow Ridge Addition in far south Fort Worth near Crowley. It was acquired in two parcels in 2017 from McCart-Risinger, L.P. and SJ Mayfair South Development, L.P. in accordance with the Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy. It contains 22.65 acres. At the time it was dedicated, it had approximately 1,055 linear feet of trail, one pedestrian bridge, and a shelter with two picnic tables and two benches. The pedestrian bridge leads park patrons into the heart of the park. The park’s name was chosen by the developers and it was marketed as an amenity to potential lot purchasers in the early 2000s. As early as 2009, Whitfill Park had a disc golf course.[1]
