Fun Facts and History

Willow Ridge Park is in the Willow Ridge Estates subdivision and adjacent to Carl E. Shulter Elementary School in the Northwest Independent School District It was acquired from Sandlin Willow Creek Ltd. in 2008 and contains approximately 5.31 acres. In accordance with the Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy, the developer included improvements that consisted of one playground, a basketball court with goal, one practice ball field with backstop, one practice soccer field with goals, 1,500 feet of trail, benches, trash receptacles, a large shelter with three picnic tables and 54 trees. The improvements were valued at $150,105.[1]
