Fun Facts and History

Windswept Park is one of approximately twenty parks located around Lake Worth. Located just off Loop 820, this 3 acre pocket park is tucked away adjacent to one of the many coves of Lake Worth. It can be accessed by Cahoba Drive or the hike and bike trail that runs parallel and connects a string of parks. The underlying geology is Cretaceous Goodland limestone and Walnut clay. Although Windswept Park was located on city-owned land, it wasn’t officially designated as a public park until 1970.
