Riverside Community Center, located in the heart of Sylvania Park, is a frequent stop for seniors squeezing in a workout, kids seeking out some friendly competition at pool or air hockey, and even the occasional migratory egret. Renowned for its cleanliness and its sparkling gymnasium floor, this center is worth exploring both indoors and out – take a stroll through the park, enjoy a little sand volleyball, or play a match of doubles on the tennis court.
While Riverside is known for its family-friendly programming, it’s really renowned for its expansive boxing gym – it’s the only community center in the city with two rings! Throw it all together, and your experience at this center will really pack a punch.
Community center memberships can be purchased online. Center membership cards are required for participation in all programs and to access the facility for open play activities.
