Camp Leader -starting at $15 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic Camp Leaders who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while encouraging kids to stay safe, physically active and intellectually engaged while having fun. Camp Fort Worth and Mobile Recreation are Summer Day Camp programs located at community centers and schools throughout the City of Fort Worth

• Be 16 or older by May 1, 2023
• Have a high school diploma or GED. Experience can supplement education requirement.
• Have 6 months of training/experience leading programs for children in a recreational or educational environment.
• Display working knowledge of arts, crafts, games, and a variety of sports.
• Candidates should be motivated, creative, energetic, flexible, show initiative and display good decision making skills.

Literacy Support Specialists - $25/hr

• High School Diploma or GED and six (6) months teaching experience in specialty area (reading instruction, early learning, elementary education.)
• Strong literacy instruction background.
• Experience with younger elementary students (K-2nd); experience with older elementary students is beneficial.
• Familiar with Lexia Core5 Reading®
• Willingness to work in other areas of the program.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative manner with students, parents, program staff, and fellow Literacy Support Specialists.
