2023 Tax Rate
A tax rate of $0.672500 per $100 valuation has been adopted by the governing body of the City of Fort Worth. The City of Fort Worth adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.23% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $11.43.

The members of the governing body voted on the adoption of the budget as follows:
FOR: Mayor Mattie Parker, Councilmembers Carlos Flores, Michael Crain, Gyna Bivens, Jared Williams, Macy Hill, Chris Nettles, Elizabeth M. Beck and Jeanette Martinez
AGAINST: Councilmembers Charles Lauersdorf and Alan Blaylock
PRESENT and not voting: None
