West 7th Corridor Rideshare

Beginning July 15, Rideshare locations will expand in the West 7th Village

Due to high demand for Rideshare services on Friday and Saturday nights, pick up areas will be removed from the busiest areas and an additional location will be added to the 2900 block of West 7th Street. Rideshare spaces will also increase from 15 to 50. These changes are made with two things in mind:

• Improve public safety
• More efficient traffic flow process

Zones will operate from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Friday evening to Sunday morning. Parking meters will be bagged and unavailable during these hours and permanent signage will be added in the near future. Zones will be available at the following cross points: 

• Side of West 7th Street between Norwood Street and Currie Street

• On Currie Street in the northwest corner of Currie and Morton Streets 

• On Bledsoe street at the southwest corner of Bledsoe Street and Norwood Street 

• A large adjoining area at the intersection of Morton and Foch Streets
